What is STI?
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) are spread through intimate contact with an infected person via blood, semen, vaginal or other bodily fluids.
STI can also be transmitted from mother to infant during pregnancy or childbirth, or through blood transfusions or by sharing needles. If a pregnant woman has STI, it can cause serious health problems for the mother & baby.
